Bro. Nakia Antonio ("Omar") Shipman

Bro. Nakia Antonio "Omar" Shipman 46, of Fayetteville, NC  formerly of Whiteville, NC answered the call of Allah on Monday January 24, 2022. 

He was the son of Mrs. Daisey Evelyn Shipman Lennon and the late Mr. Clarence Singletary, Sr.

Janazah prayer will be conducted at 1:30pm from the Islamic Center of Columbus County. Burial will be in The Islamic Cemetery of Lumberton, NC.

Bro. Shipman is survived by his mother: Mrs. Daisey Evelyn Shipman Lennon, his children: Ashauntee Shipman, Tahjira Melvin, Tykeya Shipman, and NaQuari Shipman; his siblings: Minister Clarence Shipman, Samuel Arnette, Joyce Alderman (Bruce), Delois Mitchell, Audrey Baldwin, Darryl Mitchell, Jeff Marshburn, Terrance Lennon, James Lennon, Clarence Singletary, Jr., Stacie Singletary,  Wanda Singletary,  Tasha Singletary,  Michelle Hollingsworth, Jamond Pridgen, and James Lennon III, and a host of loving family and friends. 

A facial covering is required for service.
