Bro. Sidney "Sidq" Hampton Hazel, Jr. 74 of Hallsboro, NC answered the call of Allah on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Premier Living &Rehab Center, Lake Waccamaw, NC. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He is the son of the late Mr. Sidney Hampton Hazel, Sr. and Mrs. Maggie Boone Hazel of Hallsboro, NC.

Islamic services will be conducted on Wednesday June 02, 2021 at 12pm at The Islamic Center of Columbus County, 410 South JK Powell Blvd. Whiteville, NC 28472; with Imam Hasan Ibn Muhammad officiating. Burial will follow in Islamic Cemetery of Lumberton, Shannon, NC.

He is survived by his children: Min. Cindy Cherry Graham of Whiteville, NC, Vickie Cherry of Whiteville, NC, Cindy D. Newsome of Richmond, VA, Yolanda Jones of Newark, NJ, Antwan Pridgen of Fayetteville, NC, Jayla Hazel of Hallsboro, NC. One sister: Joan Hazel of Hallsboro, NC, a host of grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A facial covering is required for all services.
