Elder Freddie J. Lucas

Elder Freddie J. Lucas 76, of Chadbourn, NC transitioned to Glory on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday December 18th 2021 at 1:00pm from The River of Life Outreach Center, Kevin Joyner is pastor; Apostle Emmanuel Cooper will be eulogizing. Burial will be in The Evergreen Community Cemetery, Evergreen, NC.  

A walkthrough viewing will be held on Friday December 17th from 3 to 5pm in The Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will follow the service on Saturday. 

Elder Lucas is survived by his children: Georgia Davis of Lumberton, NC, Margaret Ann Lucas of Chadbourn, NC, Mike Lucas of Chadbourn, NC, Elder Junior Thompson of Whiteville, NC and Herbert James Lucas of Green Sea, SC; two sisters: Deloris Lucas of Whiteville, NC, Rhonda McCollum of Lumberton, NC, a host of grandchildren, great grands, 3 great great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving family members and friends. 

Friends may visit the home of Elder Junior Thompson at 131 Mill Pond Rd, Lot # 218 Whiteville, NC.

A facial covering is required for viewing and service.
