Evangelist Mary Savage Cherry

Evangelist Mary Savage Cherry 71, of Whiteville, NC received her angelical wings on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at The Angel House Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC 

She was the daughter of the late Mr. Wallace R. Ford and Mrs. Lydianna Lewis Ford of Columbus County, NC.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday October 9, 2021, at 1pm from Campground Cemetery, Whiteville, NC. 

She is survived by one daughter: Elisabeth Savage, one son: Michael Savage, three grandchildren, one sister; Lillie Ford Smith, three brothers; Paul Long, Darnell Ford and Carnell Ford, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

A walkthrough viewing will be held on Friday October 8, 2021 from 3 to 7pm from the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Whiteville, NC. 

The family will be receiving friends at 844 West Burkhead St. Whiteville, NC. 

A facial covering is required at the home, viewing and service.
