Mr. Alonzo Hayes

Mr. Alonzo Hayes 68, of East Arcadia, NC exchanged this life for a home in glory on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at The Angel House Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC. He was the son of the late Mr. Roosevelt Hayes and Mrs. Ossie Mae Hall Hayes of Bladen County. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 1:00pm from Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jerry Ganus bringing words of comfort. 

Alonzo leaves to cherish his memory one sister: Beverly Hayes-Greer, two brothers: Alton Hayes, and Glenn Hayes, and sister-in-law: Veta Miller Hall, his adopted family; Community Innovation, Corvel, and Strawberry Residence, Chadbourn, NC. 

A facial covering is requested at the service.
