Mr. Ernest Wilbur Holiday "Hakeem Abdullah" 72, of Clemmons, NC formerly of Wilmington, NC transitioned on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Cedar Hill Center for Nursing & Rehab, Clemmons, NC. He was the son of the late Mr. Wilbur Dowe and Ms. Frances Marie Holiday.
Janazah Prayer will be offered on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 12:00pm at The Islamic Center of Columbus County, 410 S JK Powell Blvd. Whiteville, NC. Burial will follow in Islamic Cemetery of Lumberton, 5350 Shannon Road, Shannon, NC.
Brother Hakeem is survived by one son: Kenya Jama Holiday and one sister: Mrs. Eunice Herring (Roger Herring) Baltimore, MD, four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Four siblings proceeded Bro. Hakeem in death: Joe Rogers, Joanne Rogers, Jimmie Holiday, and Joyce Holiday.
