Mr. Evon Hamilton 66, of Lexington, N.C. formerly of the New Hope Community of Whiteville, N.C. passed away in Lexington, NC. A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday December 24, 2019 at 1:00pm from The Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

He leaves to cherish his memory 3 children: Mr. Oscar McLaurin, Ms. LaTonya Hamilton, and Mr. Derrick Barr, a sister; Ms. Margaret Black, a brother; Mr. Robert Jordan, and a host of other family members and friends.
