Mr. GV Festus Stanley

Mr. GV Festus Stanley 76, of Calabash, NC gave the Lord his hand on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, Bolivia, NC.

He was the son of the late Mr. JB Stanley and Mrs. Miner Gore Stanley of Calabash, NC.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be conducted on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 1:00pm from Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Gore Trail SW, off Hwy 17 South Tree Swamp Trail, Carolina Shores, NC with Dr. James L. Smith eulogizing. 

Mr. Stanley is survived by his daughters: Tashika Robinson, Deangela Robinson, stepdaughter: Mary Ann Stanley Green, 7 grandchildren, one brother: Mr. BJ Stanley,  two sisters: Mrs. Sadie Mae Stanley Bellamy and Mrs. Roma Jane Stanley Hickman, one aunt: Mrs. Marylene Johnson, a host of loving nieces, cousins, family, and friends. 

A viewing will be held from 2 to 3pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, and following the service on Monday. 

A facial covering is required at the viewing and service.
