Mr. Kenneth E Gibson

Mr. Kenneth Ervin Gibson 55, of Chadbourn, NC passed away on Wednesday December 1, 2021, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday December 11, 2021, at 12pm from the lawn near Campground Cemetery with Pastor Robert Williams delivering the eulogy.  Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery.  

Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife: Mrs. Juantoria Corrothers-Gibson, one daughter: Juanisha Corrothers of Charlotte, NC, one son: Kenneth E. Gibson, Jr. of Chadbourn, NC, 3 grandchildren, two brothers: Ricky Jones of Los Angeles, CA, and Eric Gibson of Evans, CO, one sister: Rhonda Jones of Las Vegas, NV, a mother-in-law: Mrs. Peggy Smith Corrothers, of Chadbourn, NC; and a host of relatives and friends. 

A walkthrough viewing will be held on Friday December 10, 2021 from 3-5pm in The Smith Funeral Home Chapel, also viewing will be held one hour prior to the service near the cemetery.

A facial covering is required for the viewing and service, in addition to adhering to social distancing CDC guidelines.
