Mr. Odelven George Obituary

Mr. Odelven W. George 79 of Whiteville, NC passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, NC.

He was the son of the late Mr. James Chester George and Mrs. Velma Bryant George of East Arcadia community of Riegelwood NC.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 11:00 am from Campground Cemetery with Dr. David Flowers, Sr. eulogizing.

He is survived by his children: Sharon Boone of Hallsboro, NC, Ronald George of Bladenboro, NC, Glenda Cunningham of Fayetteville, NC, Mevelyn George, Linda G. Walker, and Nakisha Campbell all of Whiteville NC, one sister; Ms. Reather George of Whiteville NC, 6 grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

A walkthrough viewing will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. A facial covering is required at the viewing and graveside service.
