Mr. William Edwards, Jr.

Mr. William Edwards, Jr. 32, also known as Junebug, of Hallsboro, NC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in Whiteville, NC. He was the son of Ms. Jonathan (Johnnie) Kemp Bellamy of Hallsboro, NC and Mr. William Edwards, Sr. of Boston, Massachusetts.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 12:00 noon from Mt. Hebron AME Zion Church, 570 Red Bug Road, Hallsboro, NC where Rev. Sandra Carter is the pastor. Rev. Dr. Staccato Powell will be the eulogist. Burial will follow in the Hallsboro Memorial Park. 

Mr. Edwards is survived by his mother: Ms. Jonathan "Johnnie" Kemp Bellamy, father: Mr. William Edwards, Sr., brother: Jonathan O'Neil Kemp, sister: Shamayne Nicole Edwards, and a host of relatives and friends. 

A walkthrough viewing will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 2 to 5pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a viewing one hour prior to and following the service on Saturday at the church. 

A facial covering is required at the viewing and services.
