Mr. Willie Cary Jacobs

Mr. Willie Cary Jacobs 74, of Whiteville, NC, exchanged this life for a home in glory on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC. He was the son of the late Mr. Willie Bunn Jacobs and Mrs. Lydia Mitchell Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw, NC. 

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Jacobs will be conducted on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 2:00pm from the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Whiteville, NC, with Pastor Gregory W. Spaulding eulogizing. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw, NC. 

Mr. Jacobs leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Mrs. Delores Spears Jacobs of the home, three sons: James Spears (Tonia) of Fayetteville, NC, Charles Brady of the home, and Keith Brady of South Carolina, two brothers: Mr. Lester Jacobs (Mazie) and Mr. Barney Jacobs (Maggie) of Lake Waccamaw, NC, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. 

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 3 to 5pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

A facial covering is requested at the viewing and service.
