Mrs. Evelyn Marlow Obituary

Mrs. Evelyn Margaret Chestnut Marlow 75, of Carolina Shores, NC quietly passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at her home.

A private Celebration of Life service for immediate family members only, will be conducted on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 11:00 am from Ocean View Missionary Baptist Association, 7550 Ocean Hwy West, Sunset Beach, NC, with Rev. Lavar Marlow bringing words of comfort. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. A facial mask is required for all services.

Mrs. Marlow was the daughter of the late Mr. Fred Douglas Chestnut and Mrs. Dollie Vereen Chestnut of the Poplar community of Longs, SC. She was a retired educator from North Myrtle Beach Primary School, in SC.

Mrs. Marlow is survived by two sons; Jamal J. Marlow and Rev. Lavar Marlow, 3 brothers; Levern Moore, Ralph Chestnut and Edmond Chestnut, 2 sisters; Mary Livingston and Florence Moore, four grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the Ocean View Site.
