Mrs. Lucinda Moore Williams 93, of Supply, NC entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 5, 2023, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Mr. Wilbert Lee Williams of Supply, NC. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Dave Moore and Mrs. Pearl Skinner Moore of Jacksonville, FL and New York City, NY.
Mrs. Williams worked in various staff nursing positions in the New York City hospital system and New Jersey University Hospital. After relocating to Supply, North Carolina; she reentered the workforce as a part-time Nursing Instructor at Brunswick Community College in Bolivia, NC, where she trained many of the local nursing students in the area.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 10:00 am from The Southern Palms Memorial Gardens Chapel, 5000 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC with Rev. Lawrence Willoughby officiating. The burial will follow in The Southern Palms Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Dunn) Minott of Supply, NC, and Nancy (Williams) Lake of Columbia, SC, four grandchildren: Nicole Minott, Michelle Minott, Richard Minott, Jr., and Kyle Lake, one grandchild Samantha Minott preceded her in death; ten great - grandchildren, three great - great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, former students, and colleagues.
There will not be a viewing held for Mrs. Williams.
Friends may visit the family following the service on Saturday at The Southern Palms Memorial Gardens Chapel.
