Mrs. Terether Ward Obituary

Mrs. Terether Johnson Ward 92, of Cedar Grove Community of Whiteville NC answered her call to be with the Lord on Monday, February 8, 2021 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Ward will be conducted on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Maxfield Cemetery, Whiteville NC.

A walkthrough viewing will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 3 to 5 pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Whiteville NC.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. Nollie Luther Johnson and Mrs. Bessie Young Johnson and the wife of the late Mr. David Ward.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories five daughters Frances Hugue of Ridgeland, SC, Kapitola Jones of Whiteville, NC, Linda Hugue of Ridgeland, SC, Elouise Ward of Whiteville, NC, and Joyce Ward of Loris, SC, two sons Early Ward of Charlotte, NC, and Donald Ward of Whiteville, NC, one sister Aggielean Johnson of Philadelphia, PA, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A facial covering is required at the viewing and graveside service.
