Obituary

Ms. Fredia Young 83, of Elizabethtown, NC formerly of Riegelwood, NC gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro, NC. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John West Young and Mrs. Evalina Graham Young.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday March 19, 2022, at 2:00pm from the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Dr. Pearly B. Hoskins eulogizing. Burial will be in Tabernacle Believers Holiness Cemetery, Riegelwood, NC.

Mrs. Young is survived by two daughters: Lora Ann Young-Finch and Jacquelyn O'Hara Young, son-in-law: Frederick Finch, Sr., grandsons: Alvester Morris Walker Jr., Armond Morrise Walker, Frederick Finch, Jr., granddaughter: Serita Jonelle McKoy, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  

A viewing will be held on Saturday March 19, 2022, from 1 to 2pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

A facial covering is requested at viewing and Celebration of Life Service.
